ETC's Filmmaking Training Program prepares learners to succeed in the filmmaking industry in a variety of roles. Film with ETC will provide timely program updates, including course schedules, locations, upcoming films and related events.

If you have taken a film making class with ETC please send an update of your contact information to: jennifer@etc-1.com. Even if you think I have your information please send it anyway. Met with some individuals in LA a couple of weeks ago that are doing projects here in Michigan. I want to be able to supply them with crew.

Macomb Community College

Teaching at MCC this weekend. There are 8 students. Very excited to be teaching again. Delta College class starts October 24th. Lots of films happening I hope everyone is getting the resume out there? Also, Hells Half Mile Film Festival starts today in Bay City...NETWORK, NETWORK, NETWORK!! Lots of film festivals happening around Michigan and Illinois, grab some friends and make some road trips. Film Festivals are a great place to network and find a job!

Upcoming Classes

If you are interested in any upcoming film classes (specifically film fundamentals) here is what we have:

Macomb Community College Continuing Education - TO REGISTER call 586-498-4000. Classes begin July 31st and run Friday, Saturday and Sunday for three weekends with the weekend of August 8th off.

Delta College LifeLong Learning - TO REGISTER call 989-686-9444. Classes begin September 11th and run Friday, Saturday and Sunday for three weekends.

PLEASE DO NOT CALL the Education and Training Connection to ask about payment plans or to register. You MUST call the individual college to pay and to register.

The above classes will be the film fundamentals class. It is 60 hours, non-credit, class. It will cover being a filmmaker, being a P.A., an overview of Hollywood and we will create, shoot, and edit a short film as a class project.
